I love geneology and in fact grew up in a family that had a great respect for those who came before us. As a child, I was taught to care for and have reverence for our loved ones graves, so I love findagrave, a way to honor our dead, it's simple and informative. As with any website, problems arise, but first and foremost findagrave is a great research tool. I have for the most part just added memorials for my own family members, and I appreciate the memorials added by others whether they are related or not.
My mother was a great storyteller and writer, so through her stories I have come to know many of her family. My father was left orphaned at a very young age, so our family has worked hard to find records to put his family history together.
I recently lost my beloved daughter, and immediately added her to findagrave, because I don't ever want her to be forgotten.
