I am interested in preserving the history of my family and extended family. I grew up in Richland County, Illinois. Most of my close ancestors are buried in Richland and Edwards County and include surnames Kocher, Weiler, Massie, Haenggi, Vaughn, Gebhard, Rennier, Schneider, Whitaker, Blank, Kapper, Custer, and Braun. While most of my ancestors already have FindaGrave memorials, I have been working to add pictures, missing data, and relationship links so that it may help others in learning about their ancestors.

I appreciate the work of so many great volunteers on FindaGrave-those who post memorials and photos, those who are happy to make updates upon request, and those who have so generously transferred management of relatives' memorials.

I intend to pay it forward on FindaGrave by helping with cemeteries in Tippecanoe County, Indiana where I now live. I see there are a lot of photo requests and several large cemeteries with a low percentage of stones photographed.
