Knowing virtually nothing about my father's side of the family, I started my geneaology after my father died. I regret that I did not start sooner so I can share with him what I have already found; and also find out how much he already new or possibly had forgotten. This type of research is nothing new to me due to my line of work so I enjoy it immensely; especially being able to connect with my father in this special way.
