For about the last five years, my wife and i have been doing research on the Smith family tree. As of now (October 2008) i can go back seven generations including myself but i am still trying to fill in a few gaps, get pictures of family members and their headstones and go back further then the information that i have now. Other lines of the Smith family would be: Bland, Anderson, Kindred, Bell, Pepper and Thornton. Starting in Accowamacke Virginia then on to Tissomingo Mississippi and then to Texas (Originally in Colorado County, Columbus Texas, then moving to Taylor County, Abilene Texas). If you have any information on these lines, please contact me. My Great, Great, Great Grandfather was Reverend Wesley Smith, who wrote a family history book called: "A family history and fifty-two years of preacher life in Mississippi and Texas" in 1890.
