I retired to Claiborne County in the foothills of the Cumberland Mountains in Southern Appalachia. I'm active in groups that focus on history, preservation, with a special emphasis on the War for Southern Independence. Genealogy is just one of my passions where history is concerned. I'm a Confederate reenactor. And I love old graveyards!
