I grew up in Forrest City, St. Francis County, Arkansas. I have been doing family research for several years: Scott (Ark. & Ill.), Croney (Alabama, Tenn. & Ark.), Swanson (Alabama, GA & Ark.) and Layton (Kentucky, Illinois).

I now live in the State of Washington (between Seattle and Tacoma) and don't get back to Arkansas too often so I appreciate having this great site. I have recently retired so now I will have more time to give back and begin adding more items.
