Born in Springfield, Ohio and raised some in Venice California from 1969-1978. Moved to Texas and got stuck there during the years. a couple years ago, I was doing our family tree and came across the fact the my mom's first Uncle is Glenn Strange, an actor who played in several westerns, a couple of Abbott and Costello movies and was also The character of Sam Noonan, the bartender on Gunsmoke. So, that makes him my second uncle. being we lived in Venice in the early 70's and he was residing in Los Angeles at the same time, Ive been trying to rack my brain as to remembering if he ever stopped by to say hi to mom. maybe he did, who knows. My Grandmother was married to his brother Lawrence. Both of them are buried in Cross Cut Cememtery in Cross Plains, Texas.
