I have been a part of Find-A-Grave since late 2008. After my grandfather passed away, I began looking into my family tree and I haven't stopped since! I'm now a local historian and genealogist based in Simpsonville, SC, the author of Images of America: Simpsonville, and the founder of Staton Research.
In researching my own family tree, some of the surnames that I am most interested in are Windsor, Blease, Matthews, Young, Ross, Heinrichs, Westmoreland, Staton, Duncan, Hill, McKee, Traynham, Whitman and Green. They are mostly located in South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, and New York.
