Born in Michigan, and having lived in various states, I have now returned to Michigan. I like to help out younger family members with genealogy, and I enjoy wandering in cemeteries. To those of you who list names and dates that you have taken out of a book somewhere, or off the internet, please double check the name and dates before you post. I am finding that when I have taken pictures of the memorial, lately it is not matching up with one or the other. I realize that you believe you are helping someone find one of their loved ones, but if you are not correct in the posting, you are really doing someone a disservice, they will probably pass it over because the name is misspelled or the date is wrong. Please, please, type, read, and reread before posting.
