I served in Girl Scouts in several different capacities for several years and was director of an Arts Center for five years, taught one year of grade school and grew broiler chickens breaking all Tysons records for the most money ever made on a batch amounting to 5 cents a head, my last batch I grew; had a Beagle kennel raising AKC Beagle gunddogs we also ran in competitions in Illinois, Tennessee, Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma; and owned with my husband a Holstein dairy farm. I was an unofficial volunteer in genealogy for over ten years at the library because I wanted to be an unofficial volunteer. I have researched extensively for the past twenty years or more, most of my lines, wrote one hard bound book and booklets mostly of relatives in Southwest Missouri (Anderson, Trail, Seburn, Ryker, with the Casada, Douglas, Cantrell Davis, McMechen and early Trail's in early Spartanburg, SC. Berks, Philadelphia, Luzerne and Carbon Counties in PA had the Hinkle and Hinkel, Minnick and Shane lines later of Southwest Missouri. Northwest Missouri kin were Anderson, Trail, Ricks, and Dixon. Northwest Arkansas kin were Clark, Martin, Keck, and Duncan's who were also in TN; and other lines of Woodring, Ritchardson of NC and OK, the lines of my second husband, and others. I do not post memorials unless it is for people I do know about and do not post from Cemetery enumerations. When I find that someone has put in birth and death dates and nothing else and it is my family, then you will find that I do another posting because I not only have bios but usually photos too and I don't want to do only a flower. I want to leave a record and I have worked hard and had a lot of expense to gather those records. Double listings don't bother me. I am not finished yet, I can only work on so many at a time as it takes time to do the bios, get the photos ready, etc. and I work on my other lines too doing the same thing.
