I am the daughter of Eliza Mae Robinson Mowery. I am next to the youngest of her children. She had 7 children; Cindy, Beulah, Billy, Barbara, Shelia, Rozetta (me)and Marcella. All of my siblings have passed away and have joined my mother in heaven.
I am also a writer, author, activist and advocate against domestic violence because my mother was murdered by my father when I was 7 years old. I have written about her life and death in a book titled, "Tragedy in Tin Can Holler" and I am trying to warn others about the dangers of domestic violence by sharing my tragic family story. I want to be a voice and help those who are living in domestic violence. We must all work together to stop this epidemic in our country.
