Hobbies include collecting several items like soft drink advertising, Hood's Sarsaparilla calendars and poker chips. Also play lots of poker, do some on my genealogy and enjoy restoring old pictures. Will try to find time to help you find your ancestors and take pictures!
It is sad when a cemetery has been neglected, but what makes me really MAD is the vandalism of tombstones!
There are over 150 cemeteries in Cherokee county Texas. Many are family plots and many are no longer in use and often with no sign and some on private property.
In the next year, I will try to locate and map all cemeteries in Cherokee county. So far I've been to about 60.
