Retired, living in Virginia. Am active in my church (Church of Christ). Member of the National Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society, Burke Brown Steppe Chapter of Charlottesville/Albemarle County, VA, also a member of the Central Virginia History Researchers. Vietnam era veteran of the United States Air Force.
I also enjoy writing poetry, short stories, and essays about family and local history among other writings. I recently self published a book on the Paternal side of my family (Solomon)- The Tablet Of My Heart: Reflections On Family, Place and Self.
