Genealogy has been a passion of mine for over 30 years. I have photographed many cemeteries/headstones for the purpose of sharing with descendants trying to find the final resting place of their ancestors.
My closest roots are in Jackson County, MO; Labette County, KS; Newton & Boone County, AR. Genealogical roots have been found to be most of the Eastern two-thirds of the United States, Ireland, Scotland, along with a smidge of Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.
My husband's roots follow a lot of the same line with his closest roots in Missouri, Iowa and Ohio. Both his parents were from around Macon and Chariton County, MO.
