I have been doing genealogy since 1996 and have found it to be very rewarding. Lots of new 'family' and friends.
I joined the CDXVIIc (lineal descendant of an ancestor who lived and served prior to 1701 in one of the Original Colonies in the geographical area of the present United States of America) thru James Harlan (d) #138821397 and his son George Harlan #63840371.
I joined the DAR through Nancy Ward – Nanye'Hi #2180. Her daughter, Ka-Ti Kingfisher #239441993 married Ellis Harlan #239442040, son of Ezekiel Harlan Jr. #1577922 and Hannah Oborn #15678013. Ezekiel Jr., son of Ezekiel Harlan Sr. #64393223 and Ruth Buffington #15679667. Ezekiel Harlan Sr., son of George Harlan #63840371. I also have DAR supplementals thru Jacob Goodman and William Oakley (Yokley).
