Originally from Chicago, I've lived in just about every US time zone. Now enjoying life in the Sunshine State!
Love the outdoors but not too adventurous although I have done some rock climbing and scuba diving. Geocaching is one of my passions - imagine that, treasure hunting!
I got the family history bug at a reunion in 1994 - wanting to know everything about my family and where they came from. My research has taken me all over the world - across Europe and North America - physically and virtually. It has been an exciting adventure, not only uncovering my roots but helping others uncover theirs.
Some of my primary ancestor research includes: Hovey, King, Swain, Rockwell, Johnson, Dahly, Doely, Phelps, Wroblewski and Zielinski as well as Texas family research for Smith, Stephenson and Snyder.
