Bio
MY wife, Maxine Mae Whisler Diehl passed April 27, 2019. It was her choice to be cremated and when I pass our ashes are to be blended and scattered by our children from the Pacific to the Atlantic.
My wife, Maxine, and I spent years retracing our ancestors across the country getting photos of their graves and looking at the physical evidence of their existence. Most of our immigrant ancestors came to America during colonial times. We have been in Washington, Oregon, Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Indiana, Ohio, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. We should have gone to New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont but we ran out of time.
We found a home on Jack Rabbit Road in Las Cruces, New Mexico and no longer go where our ancestors have gone. After Maxine left me I could not continue alone in our desert home so I have returned to Western Washington where I have family.
We have 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. It appears that if I am to keep this up to date I will need to edit this regularly. Those granddaughters and granddaughters-in-law will be in their productive years for a long time to come.
Anyone who wants to manage any of the memorials we have entered need only ask. We will be glad to transfer them to you. I an starting to loose my eyesight and some fingers do not function like they once did.
