I am a Navy wife transport to Virginia Beach from Minnesota. After traveling around the world with the Navy, we have settled here and enjoy the rich history. Once I got interested in family genealogy I was surprised and excited to learn that one of my lines traced back to Richmond, Virginia and one to Newport, Rhode Island, both places that we have lived. I enthusiastically trace military family members and others to learn what amazing heritage we are privileged to reflect on and live because of their service and the making of this great country. The stories that I collect on past relatives and those who have lived before fascinate me. As a Realtor here in Virginia Beach I often strike up conversations with folks just asking about their last names.

I have a wonderful husband,my high school Sweetheart and 3 grown children that will hopefully, one day appreciate knowing more of where they came from. The hunting and searching is in my blood now and I work on it as though I am treasure hunting! It is a treasure and a legacy to be unearthing.
