Bio
I am a retired history teacher, and before that I had over twenty years in various aspects of criminal justice, US Army Special Intelligence, private security management, and private investigations. I am a Regular Army (RA) Vietnam veteran, with years of both active duty and US Army Reserve duty. I have six academic degrees.
I have several hobbies and interests, but genealogy seems to be taking over as a full-time job! I'm using all my investigative experience to gather info on my own relatives now, along with my history background. It's turning out to be quite an experience for me and for all the new and old relatives that I am making contact with for the first time or with those that I haven't seen for many decades. It's also usually fun making contact with other genealogists.
I have a wife (same one!) for over 45 years and a son. She's a retired nurse, and he's in retail management.
