I am a Horner by birth. My wonderful father was LLoyd Horner and many of my family are buried in Oak Ridge. Oak ridge actually is just down the road from where my grandparents, Vera and Charles Horner raised their family on Wilden. Actually my father and natural mother were living on Wilden when I was born, less than a block away from my grandparents and still close enough to my other side of the family, the Nusbaums of Goshen, which my natural mother was a Nusbaum. Goshen was the birth place of my father and I although I was raised in Elkhart and the Dunlap area.

I am currently tracing not only my roots, but my sons' fathers' roots as well as a gift for my two sons and my only grandchild who happily tells everyone her Nanny spoils her rotten!! That's my job and I am very good at it. Had her shopping for shoes at age 4!That's what I always tell my son anyway!! Could be why I only have one!!They are the joys of my life as we were of our parents and grandparents.
