Born and lived all but a few years in North Central Indiana. Purdue University graduate. Was in newspaper management for about 20 years; publisher of a 34,000 daily newspaper for 4 years. Have graduate degrees in biological sciences and have served as a university level professor several years. Presently active as a real estate appraiser ;this now my third career. Have an interest in family genealogy going back to the time of the death of my grandmother, Bernice Kautz Blacklidge, in 1967.
