I am retired and I do not claim any special talents in photography, although people seem to like my pictures.
I do this work more for the sense of connection I feel bringing generations together. I like to take a moment and offer the respect and remembrance that the absent relative would like to see their family member receive. Someone performed such a service for my aunt and grandmother, both of whom died before I was born, and I like to think I am passing their kindness along in a small way.
