I was born in Oklahoma and have lived most of my life there. After living in Texas, New Mexico, and Georgia, my husband and I moved back to Oklahoma to help my Mother.
When I was living away from Oklahoma, I would drag my (6) six year old daughter to the libraries in search of new genealogy information. On those trips her only joy was to punch the elevator buttons and put the coins in the copy machines. Genealogy always gave me the feeling of having our extended family close by.
My grandfather told wonderful stories about the past and our ancestors. I have found most of his information to be fact. He is one reason genealogy has always been my passion.
