I am a genealogist and have been working on my family's history since 2009. I remember the first photograph of a family member I discovered on Find a Grave. It was a record for my 2nd great-granduncle Albert Sidney Rodgers. Well, only a fellow genealogist would understand how happy this made me and the importance of the find. I was also very grateful and amazed that someone would take the time to create such a record, and I still appreciate everyone's efforts on Find a Grave.

As anyone can see from my Contributions, I'm not setting the woods on fire on Find a Grave. At one time, I was an active Find a Grave photographer. Now, I'm on a mission to piece families together on Find a Grave by making suggestions that I have researched to the best of my ability. These families are part of my great big family, and most are distant relatives. So, now you know if you get a suggestion from me, this is what I'm doing. It doesn't mean that I want to manage the memorial. On that note, I am happy to transfer any memorial I manage even if they are a close relative to me because I'm not going to be around forever.
