I am a genealogist and writer, and a retired NASA engineer who spent most of my working life launching rockets from Kennedy Space Center.
I am researching the Matthews family of North Carolina, Georgia and Alabama. I have been studying this family for more than forty years, and am currently very active in this research. Thomas Matthews, buried in Moore County, NC was my 6th great-grandfather. He was a Revolutionary soldier, and I have established his record with the National Society, Sons of the American Revolution (NSSAR).
