I live in north-central Alabama just south of the Tennessee state line.
I'm retired after serving 44 years with the US Army (22 years active duty and 22 years Department of the Army civilian). I'm a Vietnam veteran.
Started researching my ancestry when I inherited family research files my mother had compiled. Stumbled across Find A Grave while searching for family history and records.
I feel that photographs posted on Find A Grave should do more than simply show a marker. Inscriptions on a marker can provide valuable information to someone doing family research.
