Mother and father left life with a secret. They forgot to mention I was adopted from Stuttgart. Germany area in October 1950. Passport states I was born in Havana and apparently raised in Cuba. I left my beloved Cuba in December 1960 on Operation Peter (Pedro) Pan. Moved to Chester, PA. for almost a year and lived with my Grandfather Frederick Fairlamb (FAG) and Aunt Blanche (Fairlamb) Van Ness (FAG) until my parents (Humphrey A and Carmen B. Fairlamb) left Cuba and settled in Miami, FL. Graduated from Miami Southwest High and married my high school sweetheart Steve Parker in 1968. Moved to Haines City, FL in 1970 (summers in NC). We have two children, a son and daughter.

Five Grands living in FL. Since I knew Spanish I used skills in the Polk County FL. School system as a para professional and retired in 2008. DNA test revealed I was adopted from Germany. Surprise. Find a Grave has connected me with family that before never knew existed. Raised an only child I found a living sister in Germany and the identity of my deceased mother and brother. Now Steve (who enters most data and I spend our time between FL. and NC. enjoying friends everywhere.
