Started doing this after the death of my first parent. I found it impossible to find people to tell them of her passing. Then experienced a letter to her, 2 yr after the passing.

This got me to wondering what else I didn't know about my own family and so started digging and running into relatives that were doing the same. I started in 1994, but they had been doing it before that and kept me encouraged.

I've met so many wonderful people in my search, and love the stories that have come from it. I'm still learning but will share what I have if you want to come along on the journey
