Born and raised in Indianapolis, Lawrence Township,Indiana. Currently live in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
My "Herrin" ancestors arrived in Lawrence Township, Indiana, in the 1830's. Jesse H. Herrin, my great-grandfather, sold his land to the government in 1903 to organize Ft. Benjamin Harrison, along with many other pioneer land owners in the area. Today, former Ft. Benjamin Harrison, is now the new "Lawrence".
