Originally from Long Beach, California, I came to Chicago to attend university, and stayed on a number of years working in the university library's Special Collections as Digitization Manager. My interest in family history began early on as my two grandmothers were fond of telling stories about our ancestors. Some of the lines I am currently researching are: Beck, Blackwell, Boren, Carter, Cox, Ferguson, Harrington, Leach, Mann, Routh, Stewart, Terry. The areas are Virginia, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Texas.
