I was born an Air Force gypsy with old roots in both Morris Cnty,NJ and Greenville, Spartanberg, Union and Cherokee Cnty SC and Union and Mecklenberg Counties in NC with some branches in Alabama and Georgia.
I'm now a certified professional genealogist, but South Carolina is a big puzzle. My lines are Vaughn (Branch),Durboraw(J F), Mize, Stevenson, and probably countless others.
My maternal grandmother Nora Durboraw b 1883 married first Issac Furman Green (1876-1907) and had Edith Karen Green (Coyle), Edward C Green, and Stover Wells Green; then she was married to Ward M Stevenson and had James, Rosamund, and Charlotte, then Calvin Mize and had Freddie Mae "Lucy" (my mother)and Charles Calvin Mize b 1922 d 1991.
