My friends and family tell me I have an old soul. Since childhood I have enjoyed hearing stories from the past and studying history, especially the history of my ancestors. I enjoy learning about their hopes and dreams and how God worked in their lives, during both times of blessings and times of trial.

In my spare time I enjoy visiting old cemeteries to honor the memory of my ancestors and to further my genealogy research. I also enjoy the fresh air, exercise and sense of adventure that accompanies my genealogy travels.
