While doing genealogy for years, I have come to realize the value of the Find A Grave site.
Recently while on vacation I made an effort to stop at a couple cemeteries along my way to photograph headstones. I ended up missing a few photos because I hadn't been able to tell just who all was buried in each cemetery. Thanks to this site I was able to find those I missed.
So now I'm trying to add information to help others to benefit from the site as well. Headstones may crumble and crack with age but photos preserve them for ages.
