The approximately 700 Pulaski Cemetery, Hancock County, Illinois, memorials I entered into FindAGrave in 2010 are extracted from a 1940's transcription of the original Pulaski Cemetery burial record created by Harry M. Crain (FindAGrave Memorial 51282412).

As the Recording Secretary, William Reynolds Hoyt (FindAGrave Memorial 51282612) maintained the original Pulaski Cemetery burial record. His record was with the collection donated from the Tri-County Historical Society of Augusta, Illinois, to Western Illinois University. However, the older cemetery record had been damaged by mold and discarded. Crain's 1940s transcription is available at Western Illinois University Archives and Special Collections with a digitized version at:

A good deal of Crain and Augusta history is preserved at Western Illinois University Archives and Special Collections. The collection's photos, journals, letters, etc. reflect life for the pioneers who, beginning about 1837, settled in and around the village of Pulaski in the tri-county border area of Hancock, Schuyler, and Adams.
