I was raised in the country, in Ohio. My Father and Mother worked side by side in their tree business and raised 5 children. I got started on Find a Grave when I located my Paternal Grandmothers grave. I never knew her; she died at the age of 43. I then decided to make memorials for friends, family members, for future historians and families to learn of their heritage. When I write out a bio for a deceased loved one, I try to place blood relations, only. I exclude stepchildren, so future generations can create an accurate family tree, and learn about their true blood related family. I sometimes, if a person had multiple marriages, and those marriages produced children, I put all married names by the family members, when they are named in an obit! I try to be as accurate as possible. I also, use a site called Family Search, which has been very helpful in my endeavors. I always have worked, along with my husband who creates his own family memorials as well. We are partners in every aspect in our lives!
