I am diligently working on family geneaology for my side of the family and my husbands. My husband is a direct descendant of John Alden/Pricilla Mullins. He also has ancestors from all three ships including the Mayflower. He is related to Presidents, Kings, Queens, Vikings, Rulers and so on. Fascinating to work on. My side is boring in comparison. Mom is first generation in US from Bavaria. Dad is Third generation from Switzerland, but mainly Scotland.
My husand and I were betrothed from birth (that's what our Parents say). Our Dads(my Dad was a Marine in WWII) were in the military together. We didn't get along (very competitive) until after college and into our careers.
We have three terrific sons. We are always at some sporting event: water polo, swimming, volleyball or basketball. I am an RN-work at Stanford. Jeff, my husband is graphic artist who works in screen printing. We have a very blessed life. Both born and raised in San Jose, CA. We have our Parents and brothers close by, the furthest being my older brother in San Diego.
My Mom and I have always liked to walk around cemeteries. We always feel there are so many wonderful stories out there.
Families can be together forever.
