I am a searcher. I have been at this since 2004. Have found some pretty unusual things about family members, but my most and best finds are from those that are still alive and willing to sit and talk. I take a small recorder that is kept out of sight so as not to "worry the old folks", but they know it is there. Then I just let them have a go at it. You will not believe what you will find out in just a short time of sitting and listening.
I am married to the most wonderful man in the world. He is semi-retired. I am a 19 year veteran Church Secretary, retired. I have some health issues that do hold me back, at times, but I still go and do not up. I am a fighter!
We have five great children. We also have seven grandchildren and 14 great-grands. Each one is very special. One son, Michael, is with Jesus. His grave is listed on Find-A-Grave. He has been gone since 1991 but he is not forgotten.
