I have always loved genealogy and have always held a deep respect and appreciation for graves. That interest became stronger when my husband helped clear an old family cemetery that his great-grandfather built. We are no longer near that cemetery but hoped that it and it's history are preserved for future generations and genealogists. My reason for contributing to Find A Grave is to honor my own ancestors and help contribute to their memorials.

I am delighted to have additional information added to memorials I maintain. Most of the memorials I maintain are my own family ancestors and I am always happy to hear from others also researching them. I'm also happy to transfer non-related memorials to their own families to maintain.
