I started researching genealogy with my husband's family when I was given a big box of pictures. To me it was like a giant jigsaw puzzle, and I loved working on figuring it all out.

My mother later requested I look into her father's family, the Rudolph family, and I quickly found that there was very little information available online at the time. Since then, quite a few people have contributed here as well as other genealogy sites. Always glad to find more information on that family.
