I am the great, great grandson of John C Holley of Monicello, Sullivan County and buried in Rock Ridge, the great, gradson of Franklin Pierce Holley who died in Bradford, PA and the grandson of George M. Holley of Detroit, Michigan (Founder of Holley Carburetor Company and the son of John Corliss Holley who died June 7, 2006. My father does not have a grave. Some of his ashes were deposited into the dam spillway at his home in Lake Placid, New York and some of the ashes were taken to Arizona by his daughter Jill to be deposited in an Indian reservation or a place of her choosing. I now live in the San Francisco area but occasionally revisit Lake Placid. I am also the family genealogist and always looking ancestors, stories and photos.
