I am a professional archaeologist and researcher. My interest in family history and grave yards was started back in the 1970s by my great-great-aunt Ethel Read Mitten Evans, who gave me several family pictures and told me part of the family history. Since that time I have traveled all over the county visiting small grave yards and hunting for Read ancestors.

I try to include biographical information for the individuals that I add to Find-a-grave. This information has been carefully researched and cross checked, but if you find an error let me known! I also try to cross link as many family members as possible. If you are maintaining a memorial for someone in my family, don't be surprised if you get a request from me to link to their parents or spouse(s)! My goal is to link as many members of the family as possible so that people researching their branch of the family will be able to follow paths back to ancestors they didn't even know existed!
