I'm an independent researcher who has a background in science and religious studies and through the Baha'i Faith I've been able to keep them together while becoming aware of the wider world of experience of the social ills and triumphs of the spirit advancing our common humanity and not only times people have been inhumane to eachother.

I was born in the Philippines of American parents but we left there after a few months. My earliest memories of Spain where my father continued his service period in the Air Force. Upon finishing his tour we moved back to the States were my childhood and extended family was in Wisconsin, and I went to graduate school in North Carolina where I married and we began a family. But people are more than where and when they were born - my choices would have been different if still me if others had chosen differently, even people i never met and who left no trace to be named. I try to be mindful of that in my doings.
