My name is Kiel (pronounced "Kyle") and I've been doing genealogy since 2009. I never quite understood my grandmother's fascination with taking pictures of headstones and filling notebooks upon notebooks with family information until I took up the hobby myself. Now I find myself not only researching my side of the family, but carrying on the work of my grandmother as well.
Most of my research at this point is concentrated on Hamilton, Boone, and Vanderburgh counties in Indiana. I've started to add and clean-up records for Carmel Cemetery and Carmel Cemetery (Old). If I have added one of your family members or ancestors and you'd like me to transfer the memorial to you, please let me know... I'll be glad to do it!
AKA HoosierGenealogist: I also contribute to Find A Grave using the account "HoosierGenealogist." I have found it so much easier to have one account for my own family memorials (this one) and a completely separate account for the cemeteries that I help transcribe.
