I've been researching family genealogy since the 1980s, helped along by the records my grandmother left me. The lines I have done the most research on are Willhoite/Wilhite/Wilhoit, Ashby, Hopper (Indiana/Kentucky), Bielen, LaFavor (Minnesota), and Smith (Indiana). I live in Minneapolis, MN and had a long career as an academic. I now manage four group homes for disabled adults and teach part-time.
