I am a widowed mom to a teen daughter. I was raised in Oklahoma, but escaped to Texas as soon as humanly possible. I love Texas despite a lot of the political issues, and the oppressive summer heat, and I honestly don't think I'd ever live anywhere else. I enjoy learning about my family history, and exploring how so many of them spread across the southwest United States.
