Born and raised on Pitt St. in Uptown New Orleans, La. Attended St.Francis of Assisi Grammer school, Graduated from Alcee Fortier High, two years at La. Tech. in Ruston, la. and graduated from Southeastern University in Hammond,LA. Joined the US Navy and served one year aboard the Destroyer Escort USS Woodson DE-359 . Went active and graduated from the US Navy Fleet Air Intelligence school in Norfolk, Va. and served aboard the Attack Aircraft Carrier USS Franklin D.Roosevelt CVA- 42 (1959-1961) as a PT-3 (photographic Intelligenceman). Retired from Tell's Hardware Co. Inc. as a co-owner. Semi-retired in 1990 and worked as an Offshore Oil Scout for Chieftian International Oil Company. Fully retired in 2001 at 62.
