I have been tracing my ancestry since 2010. My Mom was really interested in her family roots, but she passed away in 2006, before ancestry searching became a big thing. It also piqued my interest and I started the journey to find the answers for my Mom. Her paternal side has turned out to be the brick wall I can't seem to break through. Her maternal side is full of history as they were part of the earliest settlers in California.
