I live in Texas but I'm a native of Southeastern Oklahoma.
My family are all Southerners. My white ancestors started arriving in the Americas in the mid 1600s and always stayed south. As we moved west, we kept our Southern roots. So far, no Yankee in the soup yet.
My Comanche ancestors have been here for over 10000 years.
We are American to the core.
I'm well traveled (Asia, Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe as well as in the USA) and even lived overseas for years (1980s).
I'm adding memorials as I can. I'm doing this only so people can find their families. If you want me to transfer a family member's memorial, just let me know and I'll be happy to do so.
