I was born in a small town, known then as PLACE, KY, Knox County Kentucky on June 2 1945. I don't believe that Place, KY is a named location in Knox County anymore. My father, Walter Coy Campbell, died when I was quite young. My mother, Willie Helton Campbell, married Ebb Gray and we moved away from Knox County, KY and settled in Milton, KY, located close to the Ohio River. She later obtained a divorce from Ebb Gray. Her house burned to the ground and we lost all family pictures!

I am continually looking for pictures of my ancestors. Both my paternal and maternal grandparents were dead before I was born! If anyone has pictures of Ulysis Byron Campbell and his wife, Malinda Jane Phipps I would love to have a copy. I have continually tried to verify who Malinda Jane Phipps's parents were but without success. Also, I have never seen my maternal grandparents, Jesse E Helton and Martha Moriah Dinsmore - would really like to see what they were like.

I have one child, Bonita Renay Scholey, from my first marriage to Robert Clifton Barnes. She has two children, Ashley and Brandon. The love of my life, my present husband of 32 years, is Donald Ray Hardy. We have no children together but he has one daughter, Stephanie Lynn, from a previous marriage to Sue Hobbs.

I live in Middle Tennessee, relatively close to Nashville and Chattanooga, TN and Huntsville, AL. I am available to take photos of tombstones in this immediate vicinity, if one can give clear directions to the cemetery.
