My husband's family (STONE) began possibly in Ireland or Scotland, then Cross Anchor and Spartanburg, Virginia, to SC, Ky, Tenn, Missouri and then Grayson Co, Texas. His Mother's side (JOBE) married into the Hannah Boone (Daniel's sister) line and were living in Tippah Co, Mississippi, then Bosque Co, and Lubbock Co, Tx. My husband grew up in the Slaton, Dimmit and the Anton Tx area near Lubbock. We are stumped - parents of Richard Benjamin Stone born January 1806. Married a Catherine Snider (possibly her first marriage name or maybe her maiden name. Originally from Pennsylvania? Dna matches to Schneider/Hershey line and also the Stone, Langston, Allison/Ellison, Alston, Crow, Waldrop, Walker families.
